Hello!
Hope
you had a lovely weekend! I am eager for autumn and those cooler weather days.
So, to get a little in the mood, I couldn't resist making some sweet patchwork apples from the
lovely Lori Holt of Bee in My Bonnet's book, Quilty Fun!
They were so fun to make and I can't wait to make some more, maybe into pot holders!
They were so fun to make and I can't wait to make some more, maybe into pot holders!
And, this sweet mini apple quilt is what I made! It is completely inspired by the darling mini apple quilt that Jessie of Messy Jesse made that I just loved! So, now it is the perfect little quilt to practice my hand quilting on!
I made a few more pinwheels to add to my quilt! I am more of a simple quilter, and these are always my favorite to make!
The hardest part is always deciding the fabrics! ;)
And, now my Sew Sweet Bee pinwheel quilt top is finished!
I just love how this quilt turned out and all the pretty blocks and colors! Thank you to all the Sweet Bee's who contributed to it!! Soon it will be off to be quilted by the sweetest Donna, which I can't wait!! Her quilting is always so beautiful!
And, these pretties arrived in the mail from Donna last week! She sweetly asked me if I would like to do a Blogger's Choice for her fabric shoppe, which I was so excited to do with these new Lecien Flower Sugar collection! The colors are so gorgeous! You can find this sweet Vintage Grey fat quarter bundle over at Donna's shoppe!
I am getting ready to start making some fall items for the shoppe. I love this time of year and all the soft autumn colors! Thank you for visiting with me and for your sweet comments!
Wishing you a most lovely and crafty week! xo

ReplyDeleteI always love the fabrics you put together. So pretty!
ReplyDeleteHello :)
ReplyDeleteThat pattern is a new one to me, although it is very cute, and I can see why you wanted to sew up some apple squares.
I admire you for always crafting and creating.
Everything you make is always done so nicely, and you have a great eye for color and pattern!
Yes... it is still to warm to feel super Fall-ish. But, if we wait for the weather to cooperate, then we'll miss out on some great Fall stuff.
You know, pumpkins, and candy corn only hang around so long **smile**.

Love the apples but all these fabrics make me smile! ♥
