Hello sweet friends!
Well, I am so excited for today's post as it is my turn for the The Stash-Busting blog hop to celebrate the most lovely Kim of Retro Mama's new book Scrap Happy Sewing and 50 Fat Quarters Makes! Both books are full of beautiful and sweet projects and inspiration!
(Scrap Happy Sewing photo from Kim Kruzich)
I was excited to read through Kim's new book as I love scraps and have some very loved pieces that are just meant for projects she has created!
I made this sweet Cozy Four-Square scrappy pillow cover out of Kim's book, and had so much fun choosing some of my favorite scraps for it!
I added the cream with black swiss dots binding as I am going through a little polka dot kick right now and loved the sweetness it gives to it!
Simple quilting lines Kim has you add to each square gives it such a sweet touch and gave me some good practice on my straight lines!
Scrap Happy Sewing was such a lovely book to look through with beautiful scrappy projects to make! I can't wait to make some more projects. I think Kim's On-a-Roll Crochet Hook Holder is next on my list as my hooks are quite a mess right now, and need a cozy, organized spot to be!
Now for some sweetness!

are kindly going to give one of you dear readers a free e-book copy of both these fabulous and must have books! All you need to do is leave a comment on this post and I will pick a winner on Monday, April 27th!
