a vintage inspired kitchen set

Hello sweet friends!
It seems to be such a busy month of projects for me! This sweet vintage inspired kitchen set I made for the lovely folks over at RJR Fabrics with their new line Bon Bon Bebe by Robyn Pandolph that will be in stores soon!
I just fell in love with this gorgeous print from the line. It has such a vintage feel that reminded of a feed sack, and the colors are beautiful! I was inspired me to make make this sweet embroidered tea towel and 50's style apron set.
I love bluebirds, so this sweet vintage pattern seemed to be the perfect one to stitch up!
This apron was inspired by a vintage feed sack apron I have in my kitchen that I have always wanted to recreate and when I saw this print, I knew I had to make it!
It is a very simple but elegant apron with a pretty touch of cream ric rac around the edges and pocket. I didn't have the actual pattern, so I just traced the vintage one I had, which worked out pretty well!
This is the vintage one on the left. I am so happy with how they all turned out, and it always seems to be easier when you have such gorgeous fabrics to sew with!
I am also working on a small baby quilt with this same line, Bon Bon Bebe, that I will be sharing soon!

Thank you for coming by and visiting with me today! Wishing you a fabulous and crafty week! xo

  3. That fabric is fabulous! It pales in comparison to your handiwork, however, which is exquisite (as it always is). I love to see what you create. Hope you are having a great week! :) --Fran
