I am already on the hunt for sweet Christmas treasures, and have found some adorable ones this month! This honeycomb card just makes me smile! The little girl and her friends are precious!
The backside is just as sweet! I just love these honeycomb cards.
I went to my local flea market on Sunday, and found this Santa Claus paint book. It was empty, but the cover is so charming. Isn't that bunny the cutest!
Shiny Brite glass ornaments have been on my list of treasures to get for awhile, and I was so excited to find this sweet box full of such gorgeous ones.
Aren't they so pretty! I could have a whole tree full of these beauties. Maybe one day!!
The one in the middle is my favorite. I love the font, and the pretty holly leaves and stars so beautifully painted on it. Do you have any favorite vintage ornaments?
And, some new Christmas fabric, Dear Mr. Claus by Cosmo Cricket. I love the vintage feel to this line. Hope these treasures brought you some Christmas cheer today!
You scored big on Christmas themed items. No doubt you will have tons of fun with that fabric. Best wishes, Tammy
ReplyDeleteThank you Tammy! I am looking forward to sewing with it!! Have a great weekend! xo Heather

ReplyDeleteThanks Kim! The paint book and honeycomb are so sweet!! Have a lovely weekend!! xo Heather
DeleteHi, that card looks so intricate, think I would be too scared to touch it! Vintage baubles are so much better than new ones aren't they? I can remember my Mum getting rid of some in favor of some plastic ones! Luckily she gave some of the more special ones to myself and my sisters. That reminds me, my sister has some in her loft she was going to give me...better give her a ring! Ada :)
ReplyDeleteHi Ada! The card was a little hard to open, and I was afraid to tear it. So glad you have some special ornaments from your mom! Hope you have a terrific and creative weekend! xo Heather
DeleteIt all looks lovely!
ReplyDeleteI just love the fabric...!!
Last week i found some fabric which i will turn into great Christmas-hangers...

DeleteOMYGOsh! those Christmas ornaments in the ORIGINAL box are priceless, Heather!!!!! We had that exact box when I was a kid, I swear...! It looks so familiar. I'm old ya know?
ReplyDeleteI think we broke every ornament because they were extremely fragile. You could very easily plunk your finger right through the side! Trust me, i did it a ton. My mom was very easy going and didn't get too upset. I wish now I hadn't done that. Where ever you got those from, had no kids or was super strict!!! lol!!!
Thank you Renae!! It is such a beautiful box!! ;) They are so fragile, so I need to figure out the best way to store them!! Have a lovely weekend! xo Heather
DeleteHi Heather ~~~ Christmas in July ~ How fun is that, It is so much fun finding those unique items especially when least expected. Happy Wednesday Heather.

DeleteOh how lovely it is to think of Christmas! Never can get enough of my favorite holiday. The whole world seems more wholesome and happy then amid the glow of twinkle lights and Bethlehem stars. The shiny brights are quite the find! Last year, my hubby and I celebrated our first Christmas together as man and wife. We didn't have many ornaments, so his father gave us a box full of vintage ornaments that his parents used to use. So many sweet styles, it is hard to come up with a favorite. Just can't beat ornaments of olden days.
ReplyDeleteI am there with you!! Such a beautiful holiday! Oh, how wonderful the box of vintage ornaments sound!! What a great way to decorate for you first year!! Love it!! Have a wonderful weekend! xo Heather
DeleteAbsolutely gorgeous finds. I have two treasured honeycomb Santa's. Love the illustrations on the book cover. I always seem to find baubles in summer too.

DeleteYes, I guess you are right! It is time to start thinking ahead, but I am not that organized. I always attempt it, but maybe I can do a little better this year! I just adore that little honeycomb girl, how sweet. I have been promised my moms antique Christmas decor. Oh she has some real beauties! I know my 72 yr old mom still has a hand made ornament that was he grandmothers. It is so fragile! My favorites, are all the ones connected to warm memories!
ReplyDeleteBless you,
Susie
