pretty treasures

Happy Monday! Hope you all had a wonderful weekend!
This weekend was very relaxing, and I had time to work on some projects. I am almost done with my granny blanket, and started sewing my granny square quilt. This aqua phone was a sweet find! Love the color, and just the nostalgia of using these phones.
I bought this pretty mint green and pink 50's vintage tablecloth. I love the colors, and the beautiful roses.
 Such gorgeous colors together!!
I love finding neat bottles, and this Meadow Brook Farm creamer bottle was a great little find. Love the fonts and graphics!
"From Farmer to Consumer"... Love that!
This is one of the sweetest needle books I have come across!! Too cute!
I am not a huge fan of many Christmas fabrics, but I adore the fabric lines of Aneela Hoey of Comfort Stitching. When she came out with Cherry Christmas I had to get some for my stash. So sweet, and the colors are so pretty!

Wishing you all a beautiful and creative week!

  3. Hi Heather ~~ Nice colors in your neat finds, especially the phone, reminds me of this vintage looking phone that Pottery Barn has right now, only it is black.

    God Bless You Heather.

  17. My mom had a princess dial phone in that color when I was a kid (it was the 70s) and you took me right back - well almost since hers was a princess. Love that tablecloth too! You sure have a marvelous eye for treasures!

  19. The little kitten needlebook is adorable! I'm getting ready to start my first ever crocheted granny blanket. I'm still a beginner when it comes to crochet, so I'm doing the giant granny. So excited... I have a ton of yarn here and am just making the final color choices. (seriously, I think that may be the hardest part of the whole project.)

  22. Your new phone is SO lovely, what a pretty colour! I'm also not a huge fan of some of the classic Christmas fabrics, but yesterday I was doing some "research" online (we're heading across the pond to the USA next week and your range of fabrics is WAY better than I can get locally, so I'm hoping to SHOP!) and was drooling over Cherry Christmas, and Blitzen by Basic Grey, oh and JOY by Kate ?. They are all gorgeous and have been added to my "wanties" list! Have a blessed day xx

  23. That phone brings back memories -- but we never had one in such a fab color. You always manage to find the sweetest little treasures. The Christmas fabrics are great because they aren't over the top Christmas-y like some can be. Look forward to seeing your granny afghan and quilt when done. Have a lovely day. Tammy

  31. I got a chuckle from the phone (great color - btw). My Grandma still had a rotary phone sitting on her bedside table up until about 5 years ago. She asked me to order pizza for her one day so I went in to use her phone and had to sit there looking at it for a few minutes - trying to remember how to work it.

  34. Hi Heather!
What a great bunch of finds!
    That phone is awesome!!
We bought one just like that for our daughter a few years ago, and then one of the local hardware stores was closing down, and we were lucky enough to find an adaptor for that phone so that she can use it with the modern outlet!!

You are going to have so much fun with all that new fabric!!

Have a great day, my friend.

  37. Heather,
Oh my gosh, you really started trouble! I just came to visit and leave you a comment to thank you for the sweet comment you left on my blog. Then of course I had to look at all your pictures, and now I want to go to the antique store so badly when I had my whole day planned out. See what you did!!! I'm sorry it took so long to write back, my mom was in the hospital and now the nursing home, so it has been really busy and crazy. Please have a good week and keep posting those wonderful pictures, it's like going antiquing without leaving the house!!
    Hugs,
