Happy Monday!!
I hope that you had a wonderful weekend and a blessed Mother's Day!! We had summer weather this weekend, and boy I am not quite ready for it! I was still enjoying the lovely spring weather, so hopefully it will return. How was your weather?
On Friday and Saturday I went to an estate sale that was close to home, and was able to make a few trips. There was quite a bit of things, so it was good to go back and find some goodies I hadn't seen the first time!
I found these vintage floral enameled bowls and tin molds. The bowls are so pretty, and on one of my other trips back, I ended up finding one more! ;)
A couple of pretty camellia tin trays and a enameled refrigerator tray, which will come to use in my craft room! Perfect for fabric!
And, this neat vintage ceramic salt box that was made in Germany. The font is beautiful and I only wish the wooden lid was there, too. But, still a great piece!
The dear people who lived in the home had tons of old music sheets and books. So, I grabbed some, along with a old Christmas carol book, and that sweet 1930's Children's Songs and Games. I will have to show you more of those later! I also got a beautiful and very old Bible, which you can see 2nd from the bottom, that I love!! And, some other neat books. Once the weather cools down, I can take more photos. Such a neat collection these people had.
I can never pass up sweet vintage cards!
And, Christmas goodies are starting early this year!! Yay! I was also given some vintage Christmas cuties from my mother-in-law that I need to take photos and show you!
So, it was a great weekend for finding treasures! Did you find any goodies this weekend?
Wishing you a most lovely and crafty week!!
really love the floral bowls and the tray!!!!

ReplyDeleteYou are one lucky gal Heather finding all those treasures! Isn't fossicking for vintage finds simply the best.....I love old books as well....and those sweet vintage cards, they are so, so sweet. I celebrated Mother's Day wandering around a bric-a-brac market, in a beautiful historic town, on what was a gloriously sunny Autumnal day with my husband and daughter, acquiring a few of my own 'ooooh and aaaaah' 'must have' treasures! 'Twas absolute bliss!! Kim =)

ReplyDeleteHi Heather ...I see you found some pretty sweet stuff at that estate sale! I am also hooked old vintage cards and books...I actually made it to a neighborhood yard sale that is no further than a mile away...Michele and I usually never find anything at their yardsales ,,,,everything is usually new but this weekend we got lucky and scored us some holt howard Christmas figurines and 4 little holt howard Santa mugs :) and a beautiful Christmas tablecloth... Michele was ticked pink!
