happy 4th of july

Hello Sweet Friends!
I wanted to pop in and wish you a most lovely and happy 4th of July and share this neat post card with you!
I found it at an estate sale awhile back and just loved history. It was sent on May 30, 1907 from New York to Philadelphia, I believe. The graphic is so neat, and beautiful! I wonder who she was writing to and what they were like? I really love the personal history of these vintage treasures!
And, I just love the Benjamin Franklin stamp for 1 cent!
Well, I hope that you all have a wonderful and safe day and a lovely weekend celebrating our beautiful countries independence!
I am also having a little sale in my shoppe to celebrate as well and make room for some new goodies coming soon!!
I will be back next week with some new treasures, hexie flowers, and a sneak peak at what is coming to my shoppe

Happy 4th of July!!

  10. Happy 4th, Heather! I adore the old postcards as well and was just mentioning to someone that the patriotic ones would make a fun collection. Someday I will have to do a little research because I always wonder why so many of the ones I find are from 1900-1920 and then it seems like they drop off. I wonder if postcards fell out of fashion then or something.
