Happy Monday!
Hope that your weekend was wonderful! Thank you so much for your sweet comments on my minty crocheted hanger and quilt blocks!! I have already started another hanger and hope to have it done this week!
Over the weekend I finished my last barn block for my mini quilt! And, of course this one had to be grey, as I love the color and do dream of having a pretty grey barn one day.
I had a hard time choosing which quilt block to do for this one, but in the end decided on the churndash, which I love how cute it came out especially with that minty strawberry fabric.
Now, time to add the white borders and red gingham sashing to all my barns!
Another lovely hexie flower is done and I'm lovin' that pop of red!
Last week these little colorful bonbons of tatting thread arrived in the mail, and oh are they tiny. I have been wanting to get some vintage tatting thread for some crochet doily projects that I have marked in my vintage pattern books, and thought these were just the sweetest to start my collection!
I have some variegated colors that I am still looking for, but for now I can't wait to use these yummy colors! Well, I am off to work on some tea towels and quilty goodness! What are your sweet plans this week?
Wishing you a most lovely and crafty week!!

Do you know how to tat? I have a few hankies with tatting that my mother-in-law gave me… so beautiful! I bought a book on amazon with an instructional DVD to help learn, but I haven't sat down to do it yet. I also found a few spools of the pink variegated variety at an antique store to use, looking forward to trying. Please let me know how your learning goes!
