a sweet peak

Happy Monday!
This weekend was quite busy for me with some projects I have been working on. I also was able to go to an estate sale on Saturday. It was a neat older house, but unfortunately I walked away empty handed. There was nothing too exciting that was worth buying. So, I returned home and starting working away. Did you bring home some sweet treasures this weekend?
I am finishing up some pretty vintagey tea towels for fall that will be up in the shoppe, hopefully tomorrow evening.
Sweet dresdens ready to be sewn on the tea towels...

And, some more tea towels waiting patiently for their scalloped edging.
Here is a little sneak peak at some new items that are ready for their finishing touches, and will be going into the shoppe later in the week.

I started this pretty mini crocheted blanket that will be apart of my display for the boutique coming up at the end of September. I am waiting for some yarn to come in the mail, so I can finish it up.
Hope you all had a wonderful weekend and are having a great start to a new week! I am off to sew and crochet my little heart away! Have a fabulous day!

  4. Your photos are so pretty with all of the lovely projects you are working on.

I did find a few things at a church sale. One was a window fan that we needed for the Little House for $5.00, much better than the $45.00 price tag for new. The other was a darling vintage planter in the form of a cart with a cute donkey pulling it.

    Have a great week! xo

  25. I love the beautiful edges you put on the tea towels. So pretty! And I really like the soothing colors you are using in the crocheted blanket. My granny square is getting quite large... I work on it as I have time. It's twisting again. So frustrating. Someone told me that it might help to turn it between each round, so I will try that on the next one I make.
