Happy Friday!
This week flew by and it has been such a busy one. Thank you all so much for the sweetest comments on my vintage quilt!! It was so fun to make, and I am already thinking of making another one and I am on the hunt for another cutter vintage tablecloth!
I have been working on quite a few projects for some dear friends and custom orders for my shoppe. One little project is for a special boy who is turning the big "1"next week. I have been inspired by Amy's placemats from NanaCompany, and thought this would be the perfect gift for this birthday boy!
I used some of my favorite grey and blue prints, along with some cute 30' reproduction ones. It was so hard not to add any pretty scallops or lace!
A little hand quilting was added to some of the patchwork pieces to give it a handmade touch.
And, his initial sweetly placed on pretty aqua gingham! This birthday boy lives a couple states away, so it has been wrapped and will be off in the mail today!
Last week was filled with pretty mail! I ordered some gorgeous rose fabric from the most lovely Donna of Donna's Lavender's Nest! She has the sweetest selection of beautiful prints in her Etsy shoppe!!
I have had my eye on this pretty one for awhile, so I was happy to finally be able to get some!! Thank you so much Donna!
The most lovely Holly of Damita's Pretty Wrap sent me these darling Easter goodies!! So, so cute they all are! Thank you Holly!
The sweetest Kim of Musings from Kim K sent me this adorable Easter basket that she created, which is so darling, and some wonderful vintage crochet and embroidery pattern books! I can't wait to try the patterns! Thank you so much Kim!
And, the most lovely Jaime of Raising up Rubies sent me a little package, with this darling dress garland. She has a beautiful Etsy shoppe filled with pretties for all the crafty hearts out there! Thank you so much Jaime!
Well, I am off to finish working on my projects, and will be back to show you one of them on Monday! Do you have any crafty plans?
Wishing you all wonderful and crafty weekend sweet friends!

I almost forgot to tell you how darling your sweet placemat is for a little boy. I truly love Aunt Grace's reproduction fabrics. The conversation prints take me back to my childhood. My gramma made little dresses for me and my two older sisters from feedsack fabrics that she saved over the years.
ReplyDeleteHappy Spring, sweet Heather!
Smiles,
Carolynn xoxo
