crocheted easter eggs

Happy Sweet Day!
Hope that you had a wonderful weekend and a great start to the week! Thank you for all your sweet comments on my "Bless our Home" embroidery!
Well, over the weekend I had some fun crocheting Easter eggs! I found this lovely pattern, and choose some pastel woolie yarns, and sat outside crocheting, as the weather was so beautiful.
I made two of each color, and for half I added some sweet felt flowers and leaves. Love how cute they came out! Just looking at them gets me so excited for springtime!
For the other the half, I plan on crocheting some little flowers and adding those on. I will have to show you when I finish. This was such a fun little project, and I am already envisioning baskets full of these pretties!
This beautiful vintage milk glass egg plate was a gift given to me by my grandmother. It is made by Anchor Hocking, and how lovely are those scallops. I am not a big fan of gold, but there is something about this combination that is gorgeous together! A sweet family heirloom to treasure! And, now I just need to make some yummy deviled eggs to serve on it.
I have finished my quilt, so hopefully the sun will be out for me to take some photos tomorrow! So, I will be back later in the week to show you! I look forward to seeing what crafty and pretty goodness you are working on!
Wishing you a most lovely and crafty week!

Oh...I love..love...love your pretty pastel eggs. Your hands are always creating the loveliest treasures. The little felt flowers add such a darling touch.
I have the same anchor hocking milkglass egg dish. I've had it since 1970. I got it for a wedding gift. It looks so pretty with your beautifully stitched eggs.
Thank you so much for sharing, my sweet friend.

  45. Pretty spring things. Despite feeling the sap begin to rise here - you can almost smell it - we still seem to be locked in winter ... I think it's the continuing mostly grey days (although we did see a little of the sun recently) and the rain! I just don't feel as if it could possibly be Easter here any time soon and yet it's only three weeks away!

    That plate is just perfect!!!
