wishes for a sweet weekend

Happy Friday!
I just wanted to wish you all a wonderful and creative weekend! It has been a busy, but lovely week. I was able to get some photos of my quilt, which I just need to upload and will be back on Monday to show you! I am already cuddling up with it, as it has been rainy and cold these past couple days! I am so looking forward to some of that sunny and warm springtime weather! Do you have any crafty plans this weekend?
A little something new in the shoppe! Made to order crocheted spring eggs! Some sweet pretties to bring a little spring into your home and perfect for Easter! You can visit my shoppe for more details!
Hope your day and weekend are beautiful!

  9. Hello sweet Heather....You are always up to something special and your Easter Eggs are no exception! I love them!
Years go I crocheted eggs with chicks inside and sold them. Oh, how I wish I had kept one for myself. Your inspire me to start looking for my old 1970s pattern.
    Thanks so much for sharing!
    Blessings,
    Carolynn xoxo

  11. Hi Heather
I adore those pretty crocheted eggs.
I do have some crafty plans actually. It's Mother's Day here tomorrow and as its raining here and forecast to be a miserable grey day I am hoping to rustle up a little embroidered and quilted placemat of sorts for my mum. I bought her a pot of tete a tete and not sure if it may mark her table if the pit is porous so a little mat to place it on might be a good way to use up some scraps. Right now though I am trying to drag my weary body out of bed to make a soda bread as I have an urge for fresh baked bread with lashings of jam for breakfast. Well it is the weekend :-) have a great weekend and have fun creating!

  16. Not sure how I missed those crochet eggs in the last post but they are gorrrrgeous! I can see them hanging off some lovely forsythia ( that's if it warms up enough for me to go in the garden!) Looking forward to seeing the finished quilt x Jane
