it's time

I hope that you all had a lovely Easter with your families, and have started this week off great!! I was excited to finally make a spring wreath for my front door this weekend. I crocheted some pretty flowers, and made a little scrap bunting out of vintage hankies and fabrics. It is simple, but sweet!!

Okay, are you ready for a preview of some vintage grey products?

Introducing my vintage tea towels!!

These are all made from vintage linens and fabrics, with a crocheted edging, a pretty half dresden flower, and a vintage doily to fancy it up!! I hope these were worth the wait!! I have about four more I am finishing, and these will all be in my shoppe next week for the grand opening!! Oh, I am so excited and nervous!! I will be posting about it more later in the week. ;)

I will be specializing in vintage tea towels for the shoppe, and I'm already working on some new designs! It is such a joy finding vintage linens that have been loved so dearly over the years, and giving them a new life in the kitchen!!
I couldn't pass up making some with the vintage kitchen fabric I bought a couple weeks ago!! It was so perfect, and I have quite the yardage of it!

The half dresden flowers have a mixture of modern and vintage fabrics to match the pretty graphics of the linens. I have always loved making dresdens, and I think the doily adds a sweet vintage touch to them!

The crocheted edging is one of my favorite parts of the tea towel. I love the splash of color and handmade touch it adds to the bottom!!

Can you imagine one of these in your kitchen? I hope so!! ;)

This is my little signature that will be on all of my goodies!! Tomorrow I will be posting some of my mini quilt wall hangings, that will also be going in the shoppe!! I hope you enjoyed, and are having a great Monday!!

  26. I love your sweet wreath. That tag you make for your items how did you make that? I want to do tags for my clothing I made. Have looked on Etsy but not happy with what I see there, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Nan

    1. Thank you so much Nan!! For the tag, I use freezer paper, and mount it to fabric to the size of paper. Then, I print out rows of my name (using word doc), and cut them!! I just ordered some tags from World Wide Label from Etsy, and haven't received them, but can let you know when I do! I can send you a more detailed instructions if you would like!! :) xo Heather
