merry christmas

Merry Christmas!
Hope that you have been enjoying this holiday season and are ready for Christmas! So, I was determined the last week to start/finish a special project that I had purchased last year, and I am happy to say that last night I completed my first vintage Bucilla Santa Mail Bag just in time for Christmas!
Wow, these kits are a lot of work, but so worth every stitch, sequin, and bead in the end. I have to say that I'm so in love with this Santa! And, I think that he just might have to find a permanent spot in my sewing room so I can see him all year long. Now, to relax and recharge for the new year.
Wishing you and yours a most joyous and blessed Christmas!
Thank you for all your love and support this year. You have truly blessed me and brightened my year! May you enjoy the holiday season and see you in 2015! xo

"But the angel said to them, "Do not be afraid. I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is Christ the Lord..."Glory to God in the highest and on earth peace to men on whom his favor rest." Luke 2:10,11,14

  1. LOVE! It reminds me of my 60's/70's childhood! I think I may need to track one of these down for next year...

  2. I LOVE the Santa mail bag so much! I want to find one of those kits! But if someone like you (who's really good with a needle and thread) thinks it was a lot of work, then I'm sure it would be nearly impossible for me! lol
    Happy Holidays!

  15. I love Bucilla kits! I have made several ornament kits and have a few of the larger kits on my craftroom bucket list. I purchased an unopened kit from an estate sale last year, even though I haven't started it yet, I still love it. Your Santa is precious! I think that it needs to hang in your craftroom all year long. Hope you and your family had a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!! Here's to a brand new year full of crafty potential!
