a vintage recipe and christmas tea towels

Happy Monday!
The vintage recipe for today is for Old-Fashioned Molasses Taffy. A simple but sweet treat! I have never made taffy before, so I am looking forward to giving this a recipe a try for the holidays!
Christmas is coming soon to my little shoppe!! I was busy this weekend crocheting away these pretty scallops on my vintage Christmas tea towels. I am hoping to have them finished and in the shoppe by the end of the week, along with some other Christmas goodies, too! Well, off to sewing I go! ;)
Wishing you a beautiful and crafty day sweet friends!

  15. Heather, you are the most industrious sewer I have ever seen. Your projects appear here like magic! I loved your tutorial on transferring a pattern to cloth. Have you shared how you put holes in your fabric to crochet your beautiful edges? I would love to know to try and edge Christmas cards. There is always so much eye candy to enjoy here! Have a great week. Elizabeth

    1. Thank you so much Elizabeth!! ;) I use a needle to put the holes in the fabric. For paper, if you have a smaller hole punch that would work for paper, or a needle could work, too! Can't wait to see your edging on the Christmas cards!! ;) Have a beautiful week! xo Heather
