Hello and a happy day to you!
This week seems to be just flying and I have been so busy with some custom orders and working on some other projects, which is why I have been a little quiet in visiting with you and posting here.
I was able to sneak some time and finished another sweet hexie. I have only one more to go!
I have been stitching some Easter and spring cuties that will be headed to the shoppe towards the end of the month, just in time for spring. It is nice having Easter at the end of April this year.
I got some pretty strawberry tablecloths to create with for my new line of strawberry goodies coming in April. There is just something about strawberries that I can resist!
Some happy and sweet mail came from the lovely Kim of Musings from Kim K. this week! She sent me a pretty vintage red tray to add to my wall collection and the cutest Easter basket!
She is so talented and creative!! I just love this, especially that adorable bunny, and it is my first start to my Easter decorating! Thank you so much Kim!
A darling vintage The Fuzzy Duckling book to add to my spring decorations. Isn't he so cute!
There are definitely signs of spring in the air and my home. How about yours?
Well, I hope that you have a wonderful and creative week and weekend! Thank you for stopping by and visiting it always brightens up my day! ♥ xo
Your Easter and spring stitchings are absolutely precious. Happy spring decorating! The fuzzy duckling is a favorite at our house too. Hugs!
ReplyDeleteYes, Spring is definitely in the air :) Your sweet embroidered critters are adorable! You do such beautiful work. I have to embroider a quilt square which is for a young mother that just had her first child. My church will hand out squares with a theme, this one is farm animals, and then after embroidering them we sew the squares together to make a unique quilt. Anyway, lets just say embroidering is not exactly my forte'.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the rest of your week, dear Heather! Hugs!
So happy to hear you are feeling that elusive Spring vibe. We get a little tease now and then and then it slips away again. At least it isn't so cold!! Love those strawberry fabrics and I know you will do them honor.
ReplyDeleteI just love all the sweet things you make. Each one is just so pretty and sweet. How nice to be gifted the red tray from Kim. I remember you saying you hoped for a red tray for your wall. She is so sweet and generous! Hope your week continues to be inspiring! Blessings, Patti
ReplyDeleteHello Heather. I love your sweet hexie and your beautiful Easter embroideries. Must be exciting to have only one remaining hexie to finish. Hope you get some spare time between work demands to complete. I can definitely feel Spring in the air. Lots of buds just starting to appear full of promise and a little warmer. Hoping to strim the grass today if it stays dry as it's rather long as we've had such a mild winter!
ReplyDeleteHello sweet Heather and sorry for being a little slow at getting to your blog too. I always find it amazing how many posts people get around to doing in one week. I really love your flower hexie and I can't quite believe that you only have one left to do, yay!! I think I need a few lessons in how to do this. How lovely to get such a very cute parcel through the door, love the gorgeous basket filled with lovely easter goodies. I haven't even given easter a second glance to be honest, but then I seem to be flying with the clouds right now. Yes that little duckling is just the cutest little fella! Enjoy your week lovely and I love your pretty embroidery for your easter shop, can't wait to see where they end up! Sending you heaps of love xoxo
ReplyDeleteYour embroidered creatures are so cute! Reminds me of an old quilt I had when I was little. I can't wait for Spring to arrive. Maybe because I am getting older, but this winter has really left me feeling blah. Hurry Spring!

What a sweet gift from Kim! I love the illustrations in the duckling book. :-) Have a happy week!
ReplyDeleteYou are into hexies at the moment - like me, except I put the patterns onto pottery. They look much more difficult to sew, though! That duckling book is so sweet - a lovely thing to have. xCathy
