Hello Dear Friends!
I hope that you are having a lovely week so far! Over the weekend I started a little early spring cleaning and redecorating. I was excited to finally get my little collection of vintage trays hung on the wall. I used paper clips and hot glue, and so far so good! I am on the hunt for some red and pink trays to add, which seem to be a little harder to find.
I ventured to a few thrift stores which ended up being pretty bare of goodies, except one! I came home with another gardenia tray to add to the wall, a sweet milk glass cinnamon spice bottle, and a pretty floral plate.
These cute Juvenile Jamboree transfers were a great ebay find! And, some of these cuties will be stitched up for the shoppe for some new items coming March.
This is another little wall collection that is growing. I want to eventually add some vintage rose/floral needlepoints and floral paintings to it, but the prices at estate sales never seem to be in my budget, and I haven't been lucky at thrift stores, so the hunt continues!
This cute little shelf has been waiting to be hung, and I am happy it is finally up and filled with some sweet treasures!
Some crocheted pot holders I made awhile back, and framed vintage style floral postcards that I used for the save-the-dates for our wedding almost 4 years ago coming this April.
My project list has been put on hold while I work on some orders and new items for the shoppe, but I did cut some squares for my next hexie flower, and will have to sneak in some time to make it. We are supposed to have a lot of rain the rest of the week, so it will be good to stay in and work away.
Wishing you all a most lovely and crafty week!

Heather, really lovely collection. I like the soft green ones most of all. And I spy a very cute little piggy card game! How fun is that!! :-)
ReplyDeleteI simply love your tray display! I went through a phase where I turned trays into magnet boards. I made some cute matching magnets and used them for gifts for my girls and daughters-in-law. Isn't it wonderful how creative we bloggers can get with simple things? You've created some very lovely displays doing just that!
ReplyDeleteHi Heather! Oh, what sweet things. Your little tray collection is so cute I look for some but when I find one they cost so much. That little red shelf is darling! I'm looking for something like that. Hope you're having a great week.
ReplyDeleteBe a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
I love your tray display too. I have red narrow tray with a geranium decal on it. I want to send it to you. I'll send you an email with a picture. You have the sweetest house with all your pretty vignettes.
ReplyDeleteYour wall displays are the best!!! Love all your displays!
ReplyDeleteVery beautiful dear friend. Your home is so cozy.
ReplyDeleteI have been working on projects this week too.
Have a happy sewing week.

ReplyDeleteHow very pretty! I love the framed florals, and that framed chicken wire is darling. Beautiful.
ReplyDeleteOh Heather, your tray collection is very lovely. I don't think I ever came across similar ones in The Netherlands.
ReplyDeleteAnd I think I wrote it before, but it can never be stressed too much ;-), that I adore your potholders!
Have a lovely day, Haafner
Love the trays. Way back when I had tons of vintage walls that covered the studio walls. I hung them with plate holders that had the springs stretched out to fit. Very resourceful with paper clips and hot glue!!
ReplyDeleteSo very pretty and the colors are simply lovely, Heather :) I used paper clips and hot glue as well on some china plates that I hung up in my kitchen and they are very sturdy and strong.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the rest of your week! Hugs and blessings!
your collections are gorgeous!!!!!

Love your picture frame wall. The different frame colours and the things you've framed too. Most inspiring to see and I think I may have to give something like that a try. Beautiful Heather!

Love your tray display Heather. They really stand out well against the white paintwork and what a great idea for hanging them using paperclips. I've seen something similar with vintage tins (using magnetic paint on a board) which I keep meaning to do. Also love your display shelf and other wall collection. The chicken wire frame is also a good idea to use for displaying items. You've inspired me to go off and do some Spring cleaning!
ReplyDeletegreat collections! i love those trays too-and have a grey one like the one on the left : )
ReplyDeleteWOW, that looks awesome:) I have a few of those vintage trays scattered around my house and love them! Have a blessed day dear friend, HUGS!

Hello sweetie and sorry I have been a little absent here for a while. I always enjoy my visits here and today is no exception. I adore the tray wall, it really does look so very pretty and much the same goes to your little collection of pictures growing on another wall. I also love the sweet green and blue frames that you put your lovely save the date postcards in for your wedding. Wow, I would love to see some pics of the big day. How exciting that you get to celebrate four years of marriage this year. I am looking forward to seeing your new hexie flower but for now sending you much love and happy Spring wishes xoxo
